It’s the year of blooming romances and extravagant weddings in Bollywood. While Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in classy Lake Como wedding at Italy, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt spent some alone-time in Mumbai.

According to our sources, Ranbir and Alia checked into a 5-star Mumbai last night. The couple’s romance, which blossomed on the sets of their film Brahmastra, has just been going from strength to strength over the past one year.

Just a few weeks ago, Alia had gone to visit Ranbir in New York. Ranbir was with his father Rishi Kapoor, who was undergoing treatment.
Alia recently told a leading magazine that she thinks Ranbir is ‘the one’ for her. “I have stars and a halo on my head, and I’m walking around with rainbows,” she said.

Speculation is rife that Ranbir and Alia are planning to tie the knot next year. Incidentally, when Ranbir was asked during a Twitter chat when he plans to get married, he replied with “soon, hopefully”.

On the work front, the couple is all set to share screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film is being made as a fantasy trilogy, the first installment of which is slated to release in 2019.
