BSNL will launch 4G service in these 10 states, 2GB free data on SIM upgrade
Tech Desk| The country’s state-run telecom company BSNL is also going to launch 4G services. 4G service was launched 4 years ago in the country. All the private companies of the country are currently providing 4G services, but BSNL is currently providing 4G services in some circles. 4G service of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has been started as a test in these circles. BSNL has tied up with Nokia for this.
Nokia and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will jointly conduct 4G tests in 10 circles of the country. BSNL started testing its 4G service in Gujarat last month. In the coming time, the company can start this service in the other 19 telecom circles of the country.
BSNL, which is going to launch its 4G service in 10 states, includes Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh , Karnataka, Kerala and Telengana. In these states, BSNL can start 4G service through 2100 Mhz spectrum band. Let us tell you that BSNL has got green signal for starting 4G service on 2100MHz band. The company is currently using this band for 3G service.
It has not yet been upgraded to the 4G spectrum. As the company uses this spectrum for the 4G service, the 3G service will be phased out. BSNL users must upgrade their SIM card to 4G. The company is not taking any charge to change the SIM and is also giving 2GB data benefits.
