200, 500, 2000 notes banned in the Country

Nepal| Neighboring country Nepal has banned the Indian currency. Two years ago the Indian government had declared demonetization in the country and now Nepal has banned the circulation of Indian currency above 100 rupees. Nepal’s cabinet has ordered to implement this order with immediate effect.

According to the Nepalese newspaper Kathmandu Post, the government has appealed to people that they no longer can keep notes above of Rs. 100 / – like Rs.200, 500 and 2000 rupees. That is, in Nepal, only Indian notes up to Rs 100 will be valid. Let us tell you that there was a large amount of 500 and 2000 notes in Nepal when there was a ban in India. Because of which the notes were stuck there. In view of this problem, Nepal has now banned the use of these notes in Nepal.

Significantly, the Indian currency was easy to run in Nepal. Thousands of old notes were stuck in many banks of Nepal, which did not come back. Let us tell you that on November 8, 2016, the Government of India had announced a ban on the 500,and 1,000 rupee notes, known as Demonetization.
